Anna Zisberg
Prof. Anna Zisberg, PhD, MA, FAAN, is a Full Professor at the Cheryl Spencer Department of Nursing and Director of the Center of Research & Study of Aging at the University of Haifa. Additionally, she holds the position of Affiliated Professor at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, USA.
Prof. Zisberg’s research primarily focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying changes in functional, cognitive, and emotional status among older adults during health challenges, particularly hospitalization. She also explores the impact of organizational structure and care quality on hospitalization outcomes and the overall well-being of older adults.
Dr. Chava Kurtz, RN, MA, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Nursing at the University of Haifa, Israel. She earned her PhD in Health Sciences from the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University. Her research focuses on patient self-management, implementation science, and chronic illness care. Alongside her academic work, she has extensive clinical nursing experience across acute, community, and chronic care settings.
