The STAGE research will lead to several ‘key exploitable results’ (KERs).
These are the main project outputs that can be ‘used’ by others outside the project and create impact.

#1 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A LIFE-COURSE APPROACH TO AGEING AND AGE-FRIENDLY SOCIETIES
Evidence-based, co-developed and tested policy recommendations designed to help maintain a person’s functional ability and reduce the risk of ageing with multi-morbidity.

#2 AGE-FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD ATLAS
A Europe-wide, interactive, digital atlas that will provide a neighbourhood-level ‘healthy ageing index’ of all regions of Europe. This will present policymakers and citizens with accurate information on ageing in their communities.

#3 FAIR AND ACTIONABLE SCIENTIFIC OUTPUTS
Transferable scientific knowledge advancing our understanding of ageing, its
determinants and the biological mechanisms involved, for use by researchers and healthcare professionals.

#4 TRUSTWORTHY AND ROBUST ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) TOOLS
AI tools to support healthy ageing by predicting the risks of different types of ageing and multi-morbidity across an individual’s life-course, using data collected by STAGE.
The tools could be used by researchers, policymakers and the healthcare community.

#5 INTEGRATIVE DIGITAL PLATFORM FOR PERSON-CENTRED SOLUTIONS AND CARE
A digital screening platform for different types of ageing with multi-morbidity through a predictive, risk-based tool. The platform will be driven by clinical and lifestyle data using two different apps tested in STAGE cohorts.

#6 FAIR LIFE-COURSE AND SPATIAL DATA AND POLICY INTELLIGENCE PORTAL
A ‘Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable’ trusted data environment with federated access to cohort data and a resource for geospatial information.
It will include a library of mathematical models, a FAIR data point for external users and a policy intelligence tool.

#7 HEALTHY AGEING LABORATORY
A public-facing web-based platform hosting resources, educational materials and tools, such as videos, blogs, or healthcare and policy guidelines, on healthy ageing. It will be aimed at citizens, policymakers and the healthcare community.

#8 HEALTHY AGEING ACADEMY
Web-based repository for training resources and capacity-building materials aimed at helping researchers and trainee healthcare professionals. It will include AI tools, research methods, and scientific publications.
