WORK PACKAGE 10 OBJECTIVE

To manage the impact of the STAGE project through the exploitation of project results alongside meaningful engagement with stakeholders. This will be achieved through the creation and implementation of the Healthy Ageing Laboratory and Healthy Ageing Academy.

Why is communication and impact management important?

The clear communication and dissemination of research outputs is a vital part of a successful research project. STAGE is built on the concept of ‘open science’, with transparency and collaboration at the heart of the project. WP10 makes that happen, ensuring the project’s results lead to tangible benefits for European citizens and its impact extends well beyond initial findings.

WP10 ACTIVITIES AND INTERLINKAGES

With responsibility for the communication and dissemination of STAGE research and outputs, WP10 works with all partners across the STAGE project and undertakes several key activities to help with stakeholder engagement and impact.

The key tasks for WP10 include:

T10.1

IMPACT PLANNING

The creation of an annual strategic plan outlining the project’s approach to communication, dissemination, and exploitation.

T10.2

COMMUNICATION TOOLS

The development of the project’s visual identity, website and a dissemination toolkit for partners, alongside the management of the social media platforms.

T10.3

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Communication and dissemination of activities and results through a variety of outlets. Includes the development of a Healthy Ageing Laboratory and Healthy Ageing Academy

T10.4

ENGAGING with POLICYMAKERS

Providing STAGE researchers with the skills to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across Europe, running external workshops and webinars to directly engage with policymakers.

T10.5

EXPLOITATION

Working with partners throughout the project to create exploitation roadmaps and ensure the key project outputs create an impact.

T10.6

COLLABORATION with CLUSTER PROJECTS

Collaborating and sharing knowledge with other EU-funded healthy ageing projects to help maximise the impact of ageing research.

Expand researchers’ knowledge of the ageing process.
