
WORK PACKAGE 1 OBJECTIVE
To establish and implement the management protocols of STAGE, including the day-to-day running of the project.
This includes financial, data, quality and risk management, alongside considering the ethical, legal and social implications (ELSI) of STAGE.
WHY IS WP1
IMPORTANT?
STAGE is a large project with 22 partners and 50 deliverables. With a budget of €19.9 million to be spent over five years, a project of this scale needs strong and supportive leadership.
WP1 is dedicated exclusively to ensuring that the work progresses smoothly, with a focus on end results, value for money, and ensuring STAGE leaves a positive impact for citizens across the EU.

Establishment of the management structure and tools for the consortium, creating processes and procedures for monitoring each WP. Includes financial systems.

- Maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outputs that see tangible benefits to stakeholders throughout the project.
- Ensuring the ethics of the project are considered throughout, including safeguarding project data and findings.
